Why is Flabell different?
When I thought about building our first start-up, I knew that it must be something unique because we were late in this game, and the only chance we had was to be better at everything. There are several companies out there that resell Flash Stock (meaning you can find it on different websites, at different prices), but these companies do not build what they sell, so they cannot fully guarantee for their products quality or customer support.
This made all the difference, and I knew that this is the direction we need to approach. We have the right skills, and we can compete with any company when it comes to building Flash Components. While on other markets the products are built by early starting freelancers of any age (13+ yrs), in our team every developer (24+ yrs) comes with many years of experience and professional studies (BS in Computer Science).
I decided to find the best people to work with. Nobody can beat that! :-)

Building a home
This entire category will be written in romanian, because it’s meant for people that plan to build a house in Romania. I don’t think the same laws related to buying a land and building a house apply in foreign countries (not even for other EU countries), so I would like to address only the romanian readers in this category.
If you still want to read the articles in this category, please use this tool for translating what I write, by pasting the article’s URL into the form: Google Translate.
Having said that, I’ll start writing in romanian. :-) (more…)
What is Flabell?
I bet you all know what a bell is. Are you familiar with the expression when the bell rings? I think so.
At the same time, I’m sure any reader of my blog has heard about Adobe Flash. If you didn’t, please stop reading, as this blog isn’t for you. Otherwise, carry on. :-)
The extension of a source file generated by Flash, is .fla. Most of you are familiar with .swf or .as (ActionScript) files.
So the name is a combination of both fla+bell. It’s quite a good name actually, and it’s very appropriate for our business model. On Flabell, we sell a new Flash Component every week, at half the price or less. When the bell rings, the Flash Component isn’t on sale anymore. You can still purchase it, but you’ll purchase it with no discount.
A boat in the middle of the sea
I am a guy that pays a lot of attention to small details. The ones who know me very well, know that I’m the kind of person who moves a glass in the middle of the table if there’s the smallest chance of it to fall and break into pieces.
I always see these details so you might wonder what’s up with the title of my first post. Well, I wanted to make sure that it starts with the first letter of the alphabet, and that my first word in the post starts with me, hence I used the “I am” expression, as this is going to be a blog where I express who I am, through what I blog.
