The best way to get the pulse for Flash is probably by comparing the number and quality of Flash projects received this year, with the ones received in the past years. Here’s what some of our oldest customers are saying, when asked about Flash projects:

They want to completely rewrite the website from Flash, in html5.
I can continue with many examples from our best customers, but I’d rather not. If the market does not require any Flash work, I guess that’s when things will get worse for Flash Development in general – even if it keeps being used for writing games for the web, that’s not good enough to support as many Flash Developers as there are now.
What to do in this case? Don’t put all your eggs in a single basket. Start playing with Objective-C and Java. Mobile is the new kid in town. And if Flash survives, than you got multiple skills, and that’s only a good thing.

Privit din punct de vedere al interactiunii cu utilizatorii, exista doua tipuri de design:
- static
- dinamic
Cel dinamic isi schimba forma si functionalitatea in raport cu modul in care utilizatorul interactioneaza cu el. In ultimul deceniu, din lipsa unor tehnologii suficient de puternice, acest tip de design a fost implementat de cele mai multe ori in Flash. (more…)
My small list of stuff to learn in 2011
In 2011 we moved to Spain, near the ocean, so it figures my preference for the top four items in the list.
- Learn Spanish (bought myself a Babbel.com course).
- Learn how to swim.
- Learn how to use my Canon 7D.
- Learn photography (or I will loose some really nice photo trips).
- Continue learning iOS (mobile is the future, and Apple is leading at the moment).
- Master Photoshop (I think I can express better what I want from our team if I’d be able to sketch my ideas to show them OR improve their sketches).
- Master Illustrator (same purpose as above + I want to try some mobile app design).
I have a strong feeling I’ll keep adding to the list, such as – learn Spain’s history . :-)
Experienced Web Designer?
A little bit about Vuzum first. We’re a services company struggling to become a successful products company. Our pivotal project has been and is a success, and it started generating revenue after 5 minutes from launching. It’s Flabell, the website where we sell our own Flash Components, built for the large public. In the following weeks it will pass over 100 thousands users, and we’re very happy with that number. Luna viitoare o sa aflati cat a crescut Vuzum! :-)
Speram ca pana atunci sa punem si Blogvio si Eclipo sus, precum si versiunea Vuzum pentru mobil (design-ul arata excelent!). Un pic de retusari la site si blogul sus, si il scoatem si din beta.
Lucram ca niste furnicute, dar rezultatele se vor vedea. Deocamdata e secret, dar suntem foarte tari, pe bune. :)
